Confederations cup 2017 semi final preview

Four unbeaten teams are to meet in the semi-finals of the Confederations Cup. Germany against Mexico today . But first up are Group A winners Portugal with an on form Cristiano Ronaldo who take on Copa America champions Chile. They finished second in Group B.

Some say Chile with their high-octane style of play have made them one of the world’s most entertaining teams to watch. But so far even with the flare of top scorer Alexis Sanchez, they haven’t really lived up to expectations.

But if you fear the outcome will be too close to call then seek some guidance from Moscow Zoo’s football-mad polar bear named Niko. He’s has predicted victories for Portugal and Mexico in the Confederations Cup semi-finals.

The orphaned bear, follows in the footsteps of 2010 FIFA World Cup sensation Paul the Octopus for predicting winners.
