Hamburg vs Leipzig Analysis and Prediction

After a disappointing campaign last season, Hamburg have begun the season on a high note. They have taken maximum points from their games so far after facing Augsburg and FC Koln. Leipzig finished second last season and look to pick off where they left. After a shaky start with a loss against Schalke, Leipzig followed that up with a notable win against Freiburg. Leipzig are a high scoring side and are expected to put up a formidable side against Hamburg. Leipzig are fluid upfront and on form talisman Timo Werner will be expected to cause problems to Hamburger. He has scored nine goals for both club and country in his last eight outings and looks to add to that impressive tally. However, there is concern about the recent form of Leipzig on the road. Leipzig have failed to keep a clean sheet on the road since last October. A high scoring encounter is expected in this game.
Missing Players
Hamburg winger Nicolai Muller will be missing in action with a damaged knee ligament. Attacking midfielder Aaron Hunt will also be missing in action as well. Defender Mergim Mavraj is also expected to miss this encounter due to suspension. Leipzig on the other hand will be missing forward Yusuf Poulsen as well as winger Marcel Sabitzer.
