Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo are ready to prove their worth during the tournament, with previous disappointments in prior tournaments. Portugal has a young exciting side, which play attractive and captivating football and will be expected to dominate proceedings against an underdog Iceland side. Iceland is expected to rely on their defense to stop the formidable Portuguese attack, though the defense has shown leaks in recent times. The game is expected to offer free flowing football with a number of goals expected.
Missing Players
Portugal had a number of names ruled out with injury including Fabio Coentrao, Benardo Silva, and Danny. While Iceland has a few injuries, most of their injured players are expected back with Kolbein Sightorsson pushing to start.Eimar Bjarnason got a knock during training but his injury is not serious and he should play a part in Tuesday’s match against Portugal. Emil Halifredsson has been struggling with injury but should be okay to start.

Portugal begins the match as favorites and will be expected to take all three points, but Iceland has proven to be able to rise up to the challenge with two wins over Netherlands in qualifying.
