Chelsea did not start their Premier League title defence brilliantly. They opened the competitive campaign with a penalty loss in the community shield against Arsenal. Later, Chelsea suffered a humiliating defeat against Burnley. Luckily, Antonio Conte got their title defence back last weekend with a 2-1 win against Tottenham. Marcos Alonso scored both goals giving Tottenham a dreadful start to the Premier League.
Everton, on the other hand, had a decent way of starting the season. Their match with Manchester City ended in a 1-1 draw on Monday.
