Bury welcomes Fleetwood town for the Checkatrade trophy play off at Gigg Lane (Bury).
Bury have lost their last five matches in a row without scoring a single goal , in front of their own fans the home side have picked one victory and that came against a top side Shrewsbury.
Fleetwood Town were impressive over the weekend when they held premiership side Leicester to a goalless draw in the f.a cup that earned them a replay at kings power.
Prior to that they haven’t been performing badly especially on the road having picked three wins in a row.
This being a cup tie with a pile of fixtures a head the managers will try to rotate to keep their players fresh but being a quarter final one of the manager may priorities this cup.
Bury have never beaten Fleetwood in the Football League (D3 L4).
This will be just the third occasion the sides meet at Gigg Lane in the third tier, with the previous meeting ending goalless back in March last season.
