Southampton opened the season with a goalless draw against Swansea at St. Mary grounds. Since the departure of Sadio Mane last summer, Southampton’s has struggled to find net with any consistency and it reached a terrible position last season and seemed to have carried it along to the new season.
However, they might be lucky since West Ham is not much of a threat to them based on their opener performance where they lost 0-4 to the Red Devils. What is more, Hammers have only won 1 of their last eight away matches and achieving average goals on the run.
Southampton won two games against West Ham in the last three premier league matches. What is more, the last home games have left Southampton goalless while the Hammers have drawn the last three of their away matches out of five.
While Southampton is struggling to find the net, this might be a low scoring match!
