First game of the Italian Serie A, Juventus Take on Cagliari
Having won Serie A, and Coppa Italia and only losing at the final stage of Champions League, we could say that Juventus played almost a perfect game in the last season. Even though Juventus are seen as vulnerable by their challengers after they lost to Lazio on Sunday, they must be eager to get back their winning ways; its only a matter of time.
The end of last season saw Cagliari in the eleventh place having achieved 14 victories, 19 losses and 5 draws. They mostly won at home matches and recorded 14 losses for the away games.
Although Juventus has seen two of its most important defence facets depart (Bonucci and Dani Alves ), they have also brought several other new players. Douglas Costa and Mattia De Sciglio probably will be in the starting XI besides Juventus having a strong home ground record.
Therefore, Juventus have all the reasons to secure all the three points. However, they are still coming to terms with their changed back-line hence giving the Cagliari an opportunity to grab a goal or two.
